We understand the difference between team bonding and team building.

Team bonding gives an understanding of peoples general attitudes towards joining in with and helping other team members and allows greater interaction within and between teams.

We have a range of tasks and challenges suitable for mixed ability groups. No special physical skills are required to take part in or complete any of our activities. All the activities are custom-built and developed from a wide range of inspirations.

They are designed to be accessible to everyone but you will need to think fast, work as a team, and have a sense of humour.

Our team bonding activities are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

TBETC take real work issues and create fun, interactive programmes which help people understand the roles of both themselves and others within their team. All learning and development can easily be transferred back into the work environment.

It is often a way to tackle tough team issues in a fun way.  We work with you to ensure a programme is specific to your needs giving you maximum return on your investment.

All our programmes are interactive with a mix of theory and practice, which covers all learning and attitudinal styles.

We assess your actual team culture and provide a gap analysis in terms of behavioural and role fit shortfall.  We also assesses every team member against the team culture. The end result will give a full understanding of what is required: skills, knowledge and attitudinal changes. These are addressed through a bespoke team development programme.

Team bonding, Team building or Team Development?

Are you training and developing your staff to tackle the issues they will face, tomorrow?

Most training is reactive, it’s about filling gaps in skills or knowledge, but don’t you actually want your staff to know what they need to know tomorrow, or the next day, or next year?

We then encourage line management and HR to take ownership of the agreed content and reinforce the importance to them and the company. All programmes must have deliverables for the future (Action plans). These action plans should be monitored and when the committed completion dates have passed they should be able to demonstrate how these were achieved. An effective way to re-enforce this is to link this to their appraisal review.
