Top Banana etc combines two businesses which provide events, training and conference production. Our joint management team prides itself on being totally client focused and brings together creative thinking, experience and in-depth knowledge of these specialist industries. We work closely with you to identify, meet and exceed your business goals, objectives and aspirations and deliver added value and positive results. Top Banana creates and delivers high quality and memorable training, events and conferences for our growing list of clients.
Top Banana Training (TBT) and Top Banana Events and Conferences (TBEC) are two companies specialising in different services. Our two companies are very similar in our outlook and how we go about delivering high quality guidance, services and products. The similarities do not stop there, we share a clear vision and believe in being professional, efficient and adding value whilst continually considering corporate responsibility.

WHERE WE STARTED
Top Banana Training was founded in March 2000 and has steadily grown every year since.
TBT boasts it has not lost a client yet, we pride ourselves on adding value to our business partners by developing their people to be prepared for future challenges. We realise that the strength of people’s abilities are influenced by their attitudes and that is part of our focus – get the attitude right and they will take ownership and responsibility for change and development. Remember ‘Businesses are not successful, people are’. We have made a positive difference to a wide range of businesses in a variety of market sectors.
TBEC may be young in history, but that is only the name. The background tells a different story. The company is a merger of parts of two successful and long standing businesses. Amazing Events and Top Banana Training have been working together with a wide range of clients for many years. We have taken the events and conference business from both of these and merged under our TBEC name, this allows the business to be more focused and professional with our existing and new clients.
Meet the team
Peter Cooksley
Peter is one of the initial founders of Top Banana Events & Conferences and Managing director of Top Banana Training established in March 2000. He has done keynote talks as well as designing and delivering training around the world in places as varied as Saudi Arabia, South Africa, USA as well as many European countries. He is a board member of …
… the Sales Performance Association along with being a member of the Institute of Directors, ISMM and the CIM. He was a winner in 2001 in the National Sales Awards, Sales Trainer of the Year Award, 2011 finalist in the Customer Service Awards. Peter is also a licensed personality and team profiler and believes all development should be fun and memorable. Peter has also toured on the comedy circuit doing stand-up, and occasional television.
Robbie Burns
Robbie has a wealth of experience in the events industry having been actively involved in high-end corporate events for over 20 years. His main focus now is over-seeing all special projects including the project management of outdoor events, concerts and winter ice rinks. … our clients’ events is invaluable. His specialist knowledge of lighting themes and special effects has been used to great success at awards evenings, conferences and more. Robbie also specialises in coordinating all of our clients’ entertainment requirements due to his vast knowledge of direct access to artist and celebrity management.
